Importing data

If you are already using a VMS or you are tracking things manually with Excel or something similar - Vendesk offers the ability to import most of your relevant data, instead of manually adding each item.

How to Import

For each of the following items we allow you to import directly into Vendesk:

• Locations
• Machines
• Products
• Planograms
• Machine Models

On each "create" screen, click "Import from CSV/Excel" and drag and drop or find a spreadsheet with all of your items (Locations or Products, etc) listed. Vendesk will scan your file and then ask you to map each column in your spreadsheet to a field related to each item. Simply match up each column you have data for and import.
