Telemetry Data from Card Readers

Currently, Vendesk only integrates with Cantaloupe and Nayax readers. Continue reading to configure either with Vendesk.


Cantaloupe

  1. Log in to your SeedLive account.
  2. Click the "reports" tab, then click "report register".
  3. Under the white box of currently active reports click "create".
  4. From the "Report Name" dropdown select "Single Transaction Data Export (CSV)".
  5. Under "Available Transports" click "Add Transport".
  6. Make Transport Name = Vendesk.
  7. Transport Type = HTTP Post.
  8. URL:

  1. Click "Test Transport" then "Add Transport"
  2. Close the popup and then click "Save" on the left under the currently active reports.

The '?'

It is important that when setting the "url" in Cantaloupe that it has a "?" at the end. The url should look like:

https://vendesk.online/api/transaction?

Nayax

Please send an email to support@vendesk.online, and we will provide the access keys required in Step 2.

  1. Ask the Nayax support team to assign you the Transaction Dispatcher and Transactions Report Subscriber user roles.

  2. In Nayax, open the Administration → Operator screen. Press Search and select your operator.

  3. Open the Transactions Report tab.

  4. Check the Amazon SQS checkbox (under Transaction Dispatching).

  5. Enter the Access Key and Secret Key, which have been provided to you by VendSoft.

  6. Enter the Queue URL:

  7. Uncheck the Enable Encryption checkbox.

  8. Press the Validate button. You should see an “Amazon SQS validation: succeeded” message.

  9. Select the following fields from the Transaction Information list:

    • Machine AuTime
    • SeValue
    • Extra Charge
    • Device Number
    • Payment Method Description
    • Card Last 4 Digits
    • Card First 4 Digits
    • Product PA Code
  10. Press the Save Information button.

  11. Configure the Product Map

  12. In Nayax, open the Operations → Machines screen. Press Search and select your machine.

  13. Open the Products Map tab and enter the PA Code.

  14. In both the Column field on the planogram in VendSoft and the PA Code on Nayax, you have to enter the item selection - the physical label in the machine that the user would press to vend the column.

    The values depend on the machine model.

    For example: AP 113: the columns should be 110, 111, 112, ..., 120, ... etc. Dixie Narco 5800: the columns should be A1, A2, A3, ..., B1, B2, ... etc.

  15. In VendSoft, open the Edit Machine screen and enter the Device Number of the Nayax device in the Telemetry ID field (including all the leading zeroes, if any):
